We’ll arrange your shoot at a time and date when you can all be together as a family and relax, either at a weekend or during the week in school holidays, it’s up to you. Your portrait session will start in the comfort of your own home as I think it’s important for me to spend a little time with the children on their own turf so to speak.

They love to show me their favourite toys and games and this gives me an idea of how they react to me and the camera before we start. When we’ve done the first part of the session at home, it’s time for a break and a change of clothes for the second part of the shoot.

Then when you’re ready for more adventure we’ll go to a local park or nearby countryside but it’s usually somewhere that means something special to your family.

This is how we capture some really beautiful relaxed family pictures. You know the images everyone loves; ‘caught in the moment’.

The session can run over two hours so I always work at an easy, relaxed pace so that everyone stays fresh and interested. Snack, drink and wee breaks are encouraged too – so important with young children.About a week after, we’ll show a selection of photographs from the session and together we’ll choose the ones that you’d like to have. We have a fabulous range of albums and frame styles and lots of original ideas to set your images off perfectly, we can even create a ‘story book’ of images from the shoot – great when there are several images you love but they won’t all fit on the walls and sideboards!It’s such a great time to have some pictures taken, the children are so young they change so quickly, our beautiful range of albums and frame styles will make amazing gifts for family and friends and with photos like these they will treasure them for years to come.
