Rachel and John’s August wedding at St. Matthew’s Church, Stretton and Colshaw Hall
On an August Saturday you’d hope for sunshine all day and dry weather and we almost got it. The gardens at Colshaw Hall were in perfect condition and the atmosphere was amazing!
It was a perfect day for a wedding and the rain held off until early evening. By then it didn’t matter as all the guests were in party mood! The only things was that Rachel & John’s statement photographs had to be done indoors as it was pouring down.
Christa was photographing with me and we started at Rachel’s parents’ home where the bridal party were getting ready. Rachel’s dress was supplied by our friends at Puure Bride in Lymm. After a informal few getting ready and detail photographs we popped over to John’s parents’ house to get some shots of the boys before going to church.
St Matthew’s Church in Stretton is a beautiful Cheshire Church and the perfect place to celebrate a marriage. St Matthew’s dates back to the 1820’s. As we arrived the guests started to arrive and opportunities for informal photos just kept coming as old friends who hadn’t seen each other for a while met up and chatted as they waited for the wedding to start.
After the ceremony everyone went to Colshaw Hall near Knutsford for the wedding reception and evening party.
