I am working to make sure that my website is compliant with the crazy EU Cookie Directive which has recently come into force. The trouble is, I’m not 100% sure how to comply with the directive. So, having looked at other websites and advice on forums I’ve looked at the Cookie Policy displayed on the website of the United Kingdom Government’s Department of Culture, Media & Sport. Apparently they’re the guys who are responsible for implementing the EU Cookie Directive. Far be it for me to comment on whether or not they have better things to do with their time just now, but this is what they have to say and, if it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for me. I’ve included the link to the DCMS Cookie web page so you can check it out yourself.
