Lifestyle pet portrait session on Wirral by Andrew Collier Photography

Cheshire dog photographer

The bond between a dog and its owner is the strongest of bonds. The constant love our dogs give to us is a magical thing which is difficult to describe but is a delight to capture. I never set out to be a dog photographer, it just happened as a natural extension of doing lifestyle family portrait photographs and being asked if I could take photographs of the family dog while I was there. For nearly ten years I’ve been photographing dog portraits too, so I want to showcase some of my dog photography.

About your dog pawtrait session

People or dogs, my approach and style is very similar. I want to capture the spirit and character of my subjects and tell a story about the subjects in the picture.

Dog photography sessions start at home, in familiar surroundings so that your dog can get to know me and be comfortable being photographed. If you’d like to, we can go to your dog’s favourite place, open fields, the beach, the woods and make some action shots of them running around, fetching sticks or splashing in the water.

All the while I’ll be taking photographs of your dog or dogs, and of you as a family group if you wish. Each session is different and is tailored to the type of pet photographs that you would like.

Make your house a home
